Horsey Alcuin! Open post

Thanks to this crackplot Alcuin is now a very pretty white horse with dark eyes, wandering around in some alarm about what to do with himself, how to get food, and who will take care of his horse and puppy. Feel free to come... er... talk to him. He'd love some friendly support.

Jackrabbit was busy popping grapes into his mouth, throwing them into the air and trying to catch them on their way down.

He was doing...a poor job.

He noticed the horse ambling up, and grinned.

"Hello, beautiful."

Alcuin stopped by Jackrabbit's side, giving him a friendly nuzzle and sniffing at him in search of food--like those grapes, for instance.

Jackrabbit held out a handful of grapes, petted his soft velvety nose. "Hello," he crooned.

Alcuin gratefully nibbled at the grapes, careful not to bite him, and rubbed gladly against the petting hand, glad for a friend, confused and unhappy as he is right now.

"Are you distressed? Would you like more to eat? An apple perhaps?"

Nodding to all three, Alcuin watched him, hopeful of recognition.

"Ohhh." he stroked Alcuin's neck. "Wait here. I will be back in a moment."

He ran off, into the kitchen, grabbing a few apples and carrots (for them to share of course).

Alcuin waited patiently, greeting his return happily, sniffing and nuzzling at him for the food.

Jackrabbit held out a carrot, crunched the end of one himself happily. "They're good carrots, here. Try one."

Alcuin munched it gladly, rubbing his nose against Jackrabbit's shoulder in thanks.
