So, things have been crazy this summer.
Last week, Sophie, Jane and I went to visit Potsdam and UVM... they were both pretty nice schools. Although, if I decided I wasn't going to pursue music as a career, I wouldn't go to Potsdam, however, they have a fantastic music program. And although it's in the middle of nowhere, they have a lot of activities to do on campus which is nice. And UVM is really nice because Burlington is beautiful and fun, and the school is really nice.
Not to mention we had a lot of fun travelling together. We played Trivial Pursuit in the car, we watched "Witness" on television, and "Six Feet Under". We had a discusting amount of Pizza Hut the first night. We played 20 Questions in the car...sort of... Then in Vermont we went shopping in Burlington, got Ben & Jerry's (mmm...), we went swimming in the hotel's pool, watched a show that taught us hobos are the devils and that without Jesus our hearts are like doughnuts. We watched "Zoolander" again. We had a slumber party. That was pretty much it. But it was awesome.
Then yesterday, Sophie and I started at the Cobblestone Arts Camp, it was fun, because it was just Sophie and I in the music thing, along with the "teachers" Mark, Nash, Matt and Neil. We listened to all the songs that we were going to have to play for the performance at the end, it's going to be ridiculous. We also had a delicious lunch together... well at least I did, Sophie had a prettty pathetic lunch. Then we wrote poetry, I wrote mine in tribute to Campy, Sophie wrote one about summer... they were very good.
I've officially decided that "Arrested Development" is my favorite show. Sophie, Jane and I rented a collection of the first season episodes and we've been watching it, it's sooo funny!
Last night, (I've been doing a lot with them lately) Sophie, Jane and I got the movie, "Batman", but the one from the 60s, the one with Adam West. It was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen. I suggest that you watch it sometime. We also decided that the Class of '06 should use that Batman for our theme, it's so funny!
Anyways....
I leave next Tuesday for Colorado. Meg and I are going to go rock climbing sometime this week hopefully to practice.
That's about it...
