Back in Bloomington
Home again home again, jiggity jig. Well the drive home was interesting. Pulled an all nighter and drove home over night. Left Skidmore at about 10 pm and got home at 12:30 pm the next day. Mom bitched and complained the whole way, but we made it fine. She did manage to sleep in the car. It rained pretty much the whole drive, which made it interesting. But we made it. After being up for... I dunno, I lost count. 11 am - 7 pm the next night, you do the math. Anyway I slept for 17 hours. It was nice, but it means I can't sleep now. Summer schedual *shrug* that's life.
Finals were a bitch. It'll be a minor miracle if I make it out of last semester with only 1 C. But I learned my lesson and next semester won't be nearly so bad. I only have two REAL classes and I'm only taking 12 credits. Course... extra cirics are gonna be a little more intense, but that's the idea :D
Home is good and bad. Good in that my Bloomington friends rock :) LAN already planned for tomorrow night and we played frisbee today (not our best showing, but we're outta practice). But bad in that... Skidmore's kinda become home now. So its more like I'm travelling for the summer, away from home.
I'm gonna try and finish MEM III this summer. And I'm going to try and release a new MUD codebase with it. RealMUD 1.0 should see the light of day by the end of the summer. I'm trying to make it as relistic as possible. We'll see what happens with it.
I discovered a whole bunch of new bands tonight that I like, I'll have to go download em. Pandora's good for that.
I watched Scooby Doo 2 tonight. It was fun, not a good movie per se, but I enjoyed it. Is it bad that I didn't see Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne no matter how hard I tried? I kept just thinking: yep, that's Buffy. And the same thing with Seth Green (Patrick) who was Oz in BtVS. Hmm.... Oh well, to quote a certain shirt I want: Joss Whedon is my master now. :D
Well, I'm either gonna do some coding now or try again to sleep. Not sure which.
