Eff this day!

I am so glad I don't have to worry about this day being single and all, but it still gets me mad that guys feel obligated to spend hundreds of dollars on flowers for girls today. It irritates me for two reasons. One, do we ever get flowers? No. And two, the fact that guys go out of their way to make sure their girl has the biggest or most bouquets at their work. I bet girls that have the day off either get their bouquets the day before or don't get anywhere near as extravagant ones at home. I don't know who has the bigger insecurity issue in that deal, the guy or the girl. (You should see the size of some of these monstrosities that are being brought in from the front today!)

I personally would rather give something on some random day. I think it means more.
