Hi all, I have no idea what I'm up to this summer aside from seeking a job as a case clerk, clerk in general or file clerk at a law firm. Anybody who knows anybody that can help out the legal-clerk to be, please let me know in particular if you live in San Francisco. In any case, I'm seriously thinking about staying up in the city to take one ( Read more... )

Hello there! kerryson June 12 2006, 00:04:38 UTC
I don't know if you remember my visit at http://community.livejournal.com/bullying/4752.html which was cut brief, but something of interest caught my attention again. Seems while I was out of town my email had picked up a message from LJ.com. Apparently on the 9th I had a reply to my comment that I wrote so long ago. However, when I went to check who had wrote it I saw nothing but supporters to the community. That community censors freely.

I had also noticed that you congratulated emmersonne for her genius comeback which had seemed to shut me up. I'm sorry if there has been any misunderstanding but I actually did have a more intelligent reply to give her (I'm just such a sucker for first impressions that make waves). Sorry to say it seems emmersonne was lost of words and did not authorize my reply. I'll give you my reply word for word hoping you'd have something to say where emmersonne was speechless.

Answer me this, who tied the rope for that thirteen year old to hang himself? Like I said before the side effects from bullying are all self inflicted. "We" haven't killed anyone.

If bullying isn't something that you can get over, then how do you explain me? I was bullied for having tourettes, and that's worse than fat since you can't walk it off in a gym. Tourettes is a disorder sticking with you for the rest of your life with its most noticeable phrase occurring from the age of five to about mid teens. I was beat up physically for talking slow and being "different". So what did I do to fix the situation I was in? I learnt that when you dream, your mind thinks what isn't reality is and the body reacts to this with sweating, sleep talking, moving and waking up suddenly. Now, I was tired of being bullied so, knowing I could if I think I can, I took action in hiding my tourettes. Now, nobody knows unless I tell them. Granted time has helped me out here but at a point in my life when the tourettes were at it's strongest point, I was able to hide it well enough that when my friends did notice the occasional symptom that slipped by me, they'd tell me in a friendly joke and we'd all have a good laugh out of it. The point is, they accepted it when I couldn't anymore.
And if you think I'm lying, go see for yourself http://www.tourettes.com/

So what's your deal? You're fat? Go to a gym and stop eating junky foods. GO TO THE GYM! Don't be anorexic or any of that stuff... that's just plain stupidity. Why don't you take some action in your life instead of wallowing in self pity. You guys act like bullying is a bad thing. It's a life lesson everyone should take at least once in their life. Why don't you take a page from Jared Fogle's book? You know, the guy from subway. I'm sure he wasn't told he looks fabulous everyday. Look at him now, he's doing great in his life because he did something for himself. Tony Hawk! He's another person who was bullied for skateboarding in high school, and now he's on top of the skateboarding world. Another example is Jonathon Davis, lead singer of KoRn. He was dubbed "fag" in high school and he had bigger problems than that. He doesn't give any information on his past to (and believe me, I've tried) so I guess you could say he "got over it". Try listening to Thoughtless in the Untouchables album. I'm sorry to say it but that thirteen year old was weak. I see no other way you can answer me without more emotions. And you're wrong, I do have feelings... I just don't have much use for them anymore.

Oh by the way, after I wasn't bullied anymore, I became friends with a bully and turned him away from bullying. And actually, I made him become friends with one of the kids he made fun of. Now the three of us are all still good friends. So don't call me scum.

I'm looking forward to your response.
