Hear we go again. Another year another list. *Picks up binioculars and heads out*
Last year was my best ever by a good distance. I got 272 species, plus sound-only record of a wood warbler and a probably-plastic goose. Can this be the year I make it to 300? I feel like trying, although it's the worst January 1st for years in terms of there being no bloody rarities closer than Cornwall or Aberdeen. Let's go...
