Just got back from a 5 day Scottish Run of birding. Shattered. 1700 miles driven, wake up times 0600, 0630, 0445, 0545, 0545 respectively. Bed times never before 2200. 14 year ticks, one lifer. Undoubtedly my best Scottish birding trip ever, with brilliant, long views of every key bird I saw (except one where there was a 60 person scope line). Details possibly to follow when I feel more alive.
Now I think I'll go into a corner and sleep. Remind me why I picked this hobby again?
