Well, this semester is somewhat over...

I am hopefully 1 more semester away from finally graduating from dabney, and I cannot be even more happier. After all of the bullshit that I have had to put up with, I am gonna finally leave and get a real job with some real money (hopefully). Geez, what a day that I have had today. As many of you have noticed, the weather is shitty and it brings many shitty drivers out on the road to wreck and do stupid shit. As a member of a fire department, I am pretty much stuck with running some calls each month. In a matter of 5 hours, we had a grand total of 6 accidents on the same stretch of interstate that I have to travel to go to dabney. Its amazing, when people see snow and ice and the possibilties of death and damage, they will go out of their way to drive their car into a guardrail with a cellphone jammed in their ear. The reason that I say that is because it really did happen right in front of my eyes, when a woman who wrecked her car going 80mph in sleet and when she got out of the car, she still had the cellphone to her ear. Kinda impressive I will say, but it proves a point that people should not use cellphones while driving. But, other than all of that going on today, it wasn't too bad. I ran my good amount of calls and I can slack off for a while, which I enjoy very much. Work in both places is going ok, although I am laid off from the catering department until january. I don't really feel bad about it, cause everyone else is laid off too in that department. I have been trying to study up for the cert tests, but its becoming harder to concentrate when both my parents are constantly barking orders for me to do at any given time of the day. To be honest, it really pisses me off when they know for a fact that I really want to study up and pass this thing. I am not under any pressure, but it wouldn't hurt to have a little time to do the studying for once. Well, I hope that everyone has a great christmas and everyone stays safe over the break. If I don't see ya this year, there is always next year.

Later!!!
