I have a whole new appreciation for BPAl as I settle into this new job at Microsoft ...
For those of you that might've pondered, I made it to Washington state from Texas relatively saf eand sound (3.5 days in a car for 8+ hours with cat and in tight mountain passes...) other than my alternator belt SHREDDING inthe middl eof nowhere New Mexico - an dmy mechanic in Dallas told me everythig was fine. Oh they BETTER BE GLAD they'r e2100 miles away. As it is, theyr'e sending me happy follow up service emails, adn theyr'e receiving ACID REPLIES. I todl them I was driving cross country, insisted they check the belts - that's part of a service anyway, paid $1600 for a window fix, a transmission clean, and a new fuel injection system (car was stalling)...
I get to Wyoming to see my uncle - he opens the hood of my car (he does all his own maintenance on his vehicle, he's such a good guy, he used to drive big rigs) adn pulls otu my air filter - which was "replaced". It's BLACK. *HISS* I sent my mom home with the "new" air filte rand shredded belt in her luggage so she can have a "TALK" with the mechanic.
Anyway.. I digress ^^; I'm here, I'm moved in, I'm lonely and a little freaked out at beign so far away from peopel I love, someone in the seattle area rescue me and take me to the LUSH store and teach me the LUSH ways...
And as Microsoft is like.. 70% male.. and they're hardcore nerds.. some of them.. hav ea serious need to bathe (thankfully not my officemate, he's a sweet little Taiwanese guy that goes out of his way to help me and I just want to squidge him to death). Sometimes I walk by a guy and go O_@;
So my scent locket will be a HAPPY HAPPY thing here. Scent locket + Berenice = bliss.
I ahve missed you my BPAL friends \o.o/ I will follow to whatever Comm we migrate to and help herd the cats
