Yay! What specs on your system and monitor? I backed down from quad core to save $70, but I'm thinking of going for a motherboard with onboard Wireless G so I can get rid of this B ISA card. (Or use it for something else...)
I just set up the Linksys Wireless G printserver last night. Laura's PC seems to be fine with it but mine is having trouble. Linksys makes horrible install CDs, and I think my old wireless card is naughty and needs a firmware update.

Vista is scary; I may stick to XP for a few more years. New operating systems ought to be more efficient with their use of resources. :(

Laura was very, very patient with me this weekend. :)
I decided to WIN TEH GAME and bumped up to a higher-quality mobo and went for the most cost-effective high-end CPU, which was a Q6600.
Newegg had a sale on the 320 MB EVGA 8800GTS, $114 after rebate!
And now of course my adviser sent me a stern Email regarding the mediocre quality of manuscript revisions I've made this week. '_'
