At long last, I have returned. Clemsonia.
I was a bit less effective than I expected this break - not as much reading was done as I planned. To wit:
J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings, Book 1: The Ring Sets Out
J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings, Book 2: The Ring Goes South
Richard Feynman, Six Easy Pieces
Richard Feynman, Six Not-So-Easy Pieces
Richard Dawkins, Unweaving the Rainbow
Other accomplishments:
1) Realizing I cannot live in the same house as my family for more than a few days at a time, therefore I need to make proper arrangements for this summer.
2) Understanding relativity to a much better degree than before.
3) Considering graduate work in physics rather than chemical engineering.
My class schedule is much lighter than usual, though any free time I might have had will instead be spent working on my new research project. Oh, the endless joy of rheology.
Rather than accomplish anything these few days, I have been reaquanting myself with my computer (Christ knows how I survived without it for three weeks).
I might go out tomorrow, if I could borrow a coat to wear.
Oh, wait. I have my own.
In any case, I'm looking forward to the challenge of a new semester. Let's see what kind of shit gets thrown at me this time around.
