Hi everyone,
Just decided to give a heads-up on what's been going on.
I've been working at my new job for the last 2 months and I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOVE it. I was afraid that after my postdoc I wasn't going to be able to rekindle my passion for synthetic organic chemistry, but the fire is burning brightly again. I can't wait to get to the lab in the morning and do benchwork and I get a lot of satisfaction from what I do. I've been able to fulfill rapidly some of the goals given by my project leader and I'm currently working on an interesting series of compounds.
Went to a picnic recently with all my coworkers, got a nice sunburn that makes me look like a lobster, but once it fades out I should have a nice tan. My first one in over 3 years.^^
I also have to get off my big furry butt and work on getting that driver's licence. I REEEEEEEALLY need and want a car soon. If I'm to invite some furiends over, it's best that I be mobile so that we can visit all around the area.
Been doing a lot of cooking, something that I haven't done in quite a while. I'm sharpening my cooking skills so that I can impress the palate of my fellow guests *starts huming a particular song from Beauty and the Beast*.
Anyways, that's it for now. I'll try to add stuff as it comes up. Oh...and BTW...I've created a furaffinity account. My username is Alchemistlion, of course, and I'll be adding drawings of my not-so-little self as they come up.
