The play seems to be going pretty well. The 4 showings for the school was a great success. Although at times people laughed at Proctor's words of "Whore," the play was splendid.
"El Paso is the 4th stupidest city in the nation. The audience just proved me right."
My minute role of pressing a button twice let me skip class for the entire day. It is a minor job, but someone had to do it.
"On and off. That's all you have to do. Do you think you can handle that?"
Franco has been a great help to the play. He learned his lines and blocking in a matter of days, something the person he replaced could never do. I'm glad he's there. He has helped heighten everyone's energy after the sudden inconsiderate action of one particular being.
"I'm a good actor. I really am. I don't want to argue about this..."
"Just stay in your own little world where you are perfect. Stay away from our reality. You'll do us a big favor."
I was given the role of "Puck" for Midsummer Night's Dream. I'm sharing it with Orry, who is a far better actor than I, but I am grateful to be given a chance to work with my acting skills. I have big room for improvement, but that is what rehearsals are for.
"Puck~! Wow... I get to be a brat!"
Overall, a great week of happiness and surprises. And now, the 4 day weekend awaits. Time for some video games~!
-A phrase that came to me while I sat in Payon Cave (a place in the video game)-
Enjoy the fruit before it rots.
If not, plant the seed so it may grow into a bountiful tree that you can harvest later.
But beware of taking its fruit too early.
Or else, you shall taste the bitter and sour result of your impatience.
"Where's my remote...?"
