Happy Yule everyone! Oh, also, Art: Get Scrooged
To everyone who's celebrating the season, Merry Everything and a Happy New Year!
I've been a bit all over the place this week, work tied up on Friday and I'm off for 3 weeks. In that time I hope to do a bit more work around all these fandom spaces that I'm camping in, Pillowfort and Hubzilla and Twitter and all the profile pages that need an update with links that work *sigh*
Meanwhile, Tumblr continues to cut the legs out from under itself and I keep hearing about friends who've been banned, deleted, blocked and made invisible. *double siiiigh*
However! In this very long and at times tedious and aptly named Silly Season, I have somehow managed to write two pinch hits and a treat for
yuletide ! I wrote the latter just today after seeing a prompt that I really loved and slipped the fic in just seconds before the collection closed, so I'm feeling super accomplished. My sincere thanks to some amazing friends who came along to cheer and canon-pick, and beta. I love you guys! I really think that concentrating on those three fics in the past week or two helped me to disengage from all that other drama. I needed it. Now the wait, to see if the recipients are happy, which would, of course, be the icing on three cakes.
And finally, I'd like to post some art! As is fitting for the season, it's art for wonderful A Christmas Carol AU which I did some sketches for last year. I hope you enjoy the pictures and manage to read the story. It's simply gorgeous.
