Yes! Yes this! Does this fic exist? I scrolled through the fics for The Martian on AO3, but none of them looked promising in the puppy pile department.

I mean, NASA being NASA, maybe puppy piles are not a thing they do. Maybe they just give him lots of science-y handshakes once he's back on board.

I don't think so. I don't seem to be able to write any fic but Stucky fic (and not just any Stucky fic. Reciprocity fic) right now, which makes kind of a problem for Yuletide.
