bidding post - Philippines fundraiser eta: now closed)

Wow. Firstly, thank you all so much for your responses! The feedback has been fantastic and informative, and it's given me a lot of food for thought. As the aim is so raise as much as possible, even if that's ten bucks, for the Philippines, I'm opening a bidding post for the following items:

[1 x A2 Drawing]

1 x A2 size traditional black/white charcoal drawing (420 x 594mm / 23.4 x 16.5 in)

Any fandom, any rating, maximum of 2 characters. Example of the kind of style you can expect. - I've chosen this example because it's a true indication of the colour and texture of the original work. Sometimes I apply a sepia effect in Photoshop after I photograph something, I didn't want to be misleading here.

If the bidder is agreeable, I will share a photo of the art on my LJ, AO3, Tumble and DA as per usual, but I'll snail mail the original drawing to them at my own expense - this is negotiable - it's fine if you would prefer that I don't share the art.

[1 x A3 Drawing]

1 x A3 size traditional pencil and watercolour drawing (297 x 420mm / 16.5 x 11.7 in)

Any fandom, any rating, maximum of 2 characters per piece. Example of the kind of style you can expect.

If the bidder is agreeable, I will share a photo of the art on my LJ, AO3, Tumble and DA as per usual, but I'll snail mail the original drawing to them at my own expense - this is negotiable - it's fine if you would prefer that I don't share the art.

[2 x A4 Drawings]

2 x A4 size traditional pencil sketches (210 x 297mm / 11.7 x 8.3 in)

Any fandom, portrait piece of a single character.

Bidding will close at 11.59pm on Monday 18th November, my time, which is Melbourne, Australia. That's 1pm UTC/GMT. I think. Um. ANYWAY. Here's a handy converter. You can donate to a charity of your choice, I don't mind, as long as the end result is aid for the Philippines, the donation is made after the bidding ends and you stay awesome - this last one is very important. Because of current fandom commitments I will pledge to finish and mail the works by end of March 2014.

If art's not your thing, there are loads of other offers you might be interested in instead at fandomaid. As there are multiple items, please reply to the comment which correspond to what you're interested in. I won't screen comments, but if you're interested in top sekrit bidding, PM me your bid and I'll add it to the pool under the comments on your behalf. Thanks again!

eta: Thank you for the kind person who mentioned the currency - I think maybe let's use the US dollar :)

eta2: In answer to a PM, yes, I will illustrate fanfic, whichever one you nominate, yours or someone else's, the art is completely the bidder's choice.

eta3: If you're not a LJ user, feel free to send me a message on Twitter or Tumblr and I'll note your bid below.
