Summary: James watches from afar.
Several people in Hogsmeade saw Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy walking hand in hand that day, watching as they laughed together and occasionally leaned in for a snog. Most of them found it adorable and amusing. Others were envious of the boys' easy relationship. Still others were a mite jealous, because either Scorpius or Albus was the object of their own fancies.
One person in particular, however, was neither amused nor envious. James Potter observed his brother and the Malfoy boy from afar. His lips were set in a grim line, and there was a dangerous glint in his eyes.
