ABQ snow removal laws?
Does ABQ have an ordinance/law/whatever requiring homeowners to clear all the snow off their sidewalks? We're closing on a house today (*knock on wood*) but we've been hunting for snow shovels for days with no luck.
We were out at the house last night for walk-through and noticed the sidewalk has been mostly cleared, God knows by whom, but not in front of the driveway (which has been thoroughly something-ed, the snow is all messed up, but not cleared-actually it looks like it's been roto-tilled). I don't want anyone to fall (both because I'm a nice, concerned citizen, and because I'd hate to start home ownership by getting sued), but I'm not sure there's anything I can do beyond wait for it to melt.
How often does it usually snow in significant quantities (i.e. enough to stick to minor roads for a day or more) in this town, anyway?
