There's a new sheriff in town
This community has been missing it's maintainer for some time. Since the old maintainer, ascetic had his/her LJ account suspended, it was impossible for ascetic to appoint a new maintainer.
When I reported this to LiveJournal Support, they made me the new maintainer.
I've updated the info page to request an LJ cut for sets of large photos, and I've changed the community information to log IP numbers, and to screen anonymous comments.
If we continue to have problems with anonymous commenters, I will consider banning anonymous comments, but I'm inclined to avoid that step. Also, if anyone is having trouble with other users of this community, please feel free to drop me a comment here or an email at elegantelbow@livejournal.com
I hope that this will help this community to be more open and friendly, and I want local businesses to know that they are allowed to advertise their events here.
