it's mussel madness!
Mussels with Tomatoes, Wine and Anise. This looks divine! Might have to make it for NY Eve. Shrimp cocktail, ouzo-steamed mussels and gin sounds just about right to me. An excellent cioppino could really round it out, but I'm just not feeling that ambitious.
Too bad we don't really know anybody on our island yet. Entertaining with a menu like this would be so fun.
