Always get that mood indigo,
Since my baby said goodbye.
In the evenin' when lights are low,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

Many had gathered for the funeral. That was to be expected. Kaito Nakamura was a well respected businessman. He was not loved though well respected. Many did not know the real Kaito and Angela couldn't help but wonder how many knew them as she had. Not as a lover but as a friend, a compatriot. There had once been twelve that saw him that way, thirteen with Adam. Now there was only a handful that remained. Less than a handful.

Angela was the only one them to attend. Maury was lost in his own insanity and Bob wouldn't attend. That only left one beside herself. The one that had put Kaito in the ground. Adam had escaped, had taken Peter with him. He was out there, likely watching now. They were gone. So many friends and lovers gone and all that remained was two men who despised her and one who wanted her dead. Knowing Adam was out there, knowing he was watching her and planning her death, somehow it made her feel less alone.

Arthur was gone. For all their fights, all the times and troubles they'd had he had been her husband and he was gone. Daniel had been murdered by one of their own creations. Virginia shot by Adam. Charles dead of disease. Now Kaito. Kaito who had been tossed from that roof. Just as she had dreamt. He knew his odds coming there that day and he'd come anyway. They were all gone. All but Adam.

Knowing Adam was out there, watching her, it made Angela feel a little less lonely. It was sick and twisted but he was all that remained of her loves and knowing he was out there was a comfort. A comfort that might well lead to her death.

'Cause there's nobody who cares about me,
I'm just a soul who's
bluer than blue can be.
When I get that mood indigo,
I could lay me down and die.
