Super happy mall adventure!
Well, I went to the mall today. I went up Hamilton Mountain (Where all the rich people live) and went to Limeridge Mall, this massive shopping complex up there. I went with my roomie Kate and her boyfriend Steve to go shopping, cause she just started a job at Reitmans and wants to use her discount card *laughs*. I wanted to wake up early and fill out some job applications and go on my bike to hand them in before I went with them, but I woke up way too late, so that plan got scrapped *rolls his eyes*.
We also bought bus passes for this month, since our free student bus passes only work during the school year. They were pretty expensive, so I hope I can get a job to pay for stuff like that.
Anyway, we got to the mall, and spent about 3 hours straight shopping in a tiny Reitmans. Let me tell ya, it wasn't fun. I kept having to "check out other stores" or "go to the bathroom" just to get the hell out of there for a bit! *laughs*
Finally, we left, and went to the food court. I got Greek food (a gyro on a pita with rice) from a place I've never been to. Usually, at the regular places, they ask if I want hot sauce on my rice, and when I say yes, they put a very lightly spiced tomato sauce on there. When I said yes at THIS place, they squirted half a bottle of Frank's Red Hot all over my rice, making it quite inedible *laughs*. I also checked back at a place called TV Showcase that I already gave in my resume at. It's a store that sells all the crap gadgets from late-night infomercials, so I really want to work there so I could get an employee discount on all that wierd stuff *laughs*
Then we wandered around a bit, and we happened by a store called Bootleggers, that had an AWESOME looking hoodie. I've been looking for a decent hoodie for weeks, so I jumped on it, and now I'm sporting a stylish new hoodie! :D I bet this unseasonable coldness will stop overnight tonight and it'll be blazing hot summer just to spite my purchase *laughs*
Then I came back home, talked to my friends for a bit, then got to try out my new hoodie by walking to the grocery store to pick some stuff up. Halfway there, it started POURING rain, so I guess I got to try out the hood part as well *laughs*. After I got out, I RAN home because I didn't want to get soaked, which left me exhausted.
Since then, I've just been chatting with people, then my super sexy boyfriend Jason came online, so I'm chatting with him now *flutters his lashes*
Wow, I'm kinda getting into the hand of regularly updating this thing now :D
