Schedule for the Not-So-Simple-Living Fair is now up. Once again, a terrific lineup of workshops and demos, practical information demonstrated by people who are out doing the work of independent living, not just talking about it. The first two of these Fairs were terrific and this one looks to be as well.
I'm doing a class on cider-making, likely to be part lecture, part Q&A, and part tasting; then on Sunday morning I'll lead people around the grounds and show them how to tell gopher mounds from mole mounds (assuming there are still examples of both to be found, as there was last year) and how to set traps for each. I'm also bringing examples of each - frozen furry snacks!
Now I must get out from behind thie keyboard and go keg cider for the potluck. Cheers!
