Night scares...
I just had the scariest thing happen. So it's just before 3am and I am sound asleep. Suddenly I hear a loud "WHAM!". I wake up and I realize that it's the outside door to the backyard (which is in my room)swinging open (so outside, not in my room) and crashing back against the porch rail. So I'm kinda concerened but figured that it must just not have been latched and it's windy outside, so I try to calm down. Then I hear "WHAM!" again. And sure enough it's the door again but this time it sounds like someone is trying to open the door...or maybe it was just the door swinging around, I don't know. So I'm trying to peer out the peephole and see if anyone is there. Not that I can see. So I peered out the bathroom window, still no one. So in the end, I guess that maybe no one was there. But I'm still not positive. I can't open the door to latch the outside door though because part of me is afraid that some crazy person is crouched by the door where I can't see him. So though I hope it was the wind blowing the door open, I sure hope it doesn't happen again. I feel like I just had a heart attack...twice. And now I don't think I can sleep. Sigh...
