My platonic date

So I just got back from my platonic date. I had a great time. It was definitely not a romantic date and it will probably never turn into one with him, but we had a great time. We went to a party at his friend's house in Royal Oak. It was almost all people who went to the College of Creative Studies. They all went to college together, and now a few of them work at the same design company. They were a really fun group of people, very friendly. We played some Euchre, sat around and talked, ate pizza and cake. I even managed to do a little bit of sales for my job while I was there. :) It was a really international group there. Not international as in they were all foreign or anything, but they all had travel experience, worked in international companies, and things like that. So I dropped a few business cards, combined some work with pleasure. Myabe I am meant to be in sales...

The funniest part of the night was that I think I met the guy I claimed to be my future husband at DaimlerChrysler a couple of weeks ago. When Jenny and I were at the diversity event at DCX HQ, we decided to scope out guys because there are quite a few good looking ones there. There was one that caught my eye, and I was like, "Oh my God, I think I just saw my future husband". Well, this guy walks into the party and my first thought was, "Wow, he's hot" and my second thought was, "Hmm, he looks familiar". As it turns out, he works at DCX and was at the diversity event. So I think I refound my future husband. Unfortunately, he was there with his girlfriend who moved from Germany to be here with him. Oh, he's German, by the way. So found and then lost again, all in the same night. Back to beginning again, I guess...
