I have been following your journal for a while. Really impressed with the introspection and honesty.

Just a suggestion, step back and take a look at your blogs. every single one centers around this ex boyfriend of yours. he seems like a great guy, but things obviously didn't work out. I'd like to see more of YOU in your blogs - - did your whole identity revolve around this guy?

I understand why you're concerned because the same thing concerns me as well. I did become way too dependent on Steve for my happiness during our relationship. Everything I did involved him (except girls' night, of course). I had plenty of other friends, but he became the person I confided in for almost everything. I think that's the risk you take when your significant other becomes your best friend.

Based on that, I think that I am entitled to post a few weeks of self-pity posts in my own livejournal. People who don't want to read about it don't have to. It's the phase I am in right now and it's a phase that will eventually pass. But for now, what you see is what you get. I'll start posting more of ME as I begin to find myself again.
