My love of books is getting out of hand

My lists of books to read just keep getting longer. I went to my village fete yesterday (which is held every year to raise money for the church) and managed to find four books at the second-hand book stall.

The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. This is because I have only read one Sherlock story and this was when I was at Middle school and I've been wanting to read more as I enjoyed watching Jeremy Brett playing him many years ago (and I'll be picturing him as Sherlock Holmes when I read them).

A Room Of One's Own by Virginia Woolf - just because I found it on the book stall and in that moment decided I need to read it. It's very old (think the copy was published in 1930) and looks battered and well-read.

The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald - again I happened to find a copy of it and thought I should read it.

The final one is David Copperfield by Charles Dickens as I have never read any of his books.

I've decided to start taking the books to work and read them on the bus and during my lunch - like I used to, or I'm never going to read them.
