That gave him pause. He stood still, staring down at her with eyes that suddenly shone gold. She knew at that moment he was thinking of his dead uncle and the vampire that killed him.
But not the one that helped make it happen. Bonnie clapped down on that stray dark thought hard, pushing it down. She wanted him to say Damon just as much as she dreaded it. He deserved to die but did he deserved to be tortured?
I'm sure this is something Bonnie tells herself to make herself feel less badly.

He was begging for it to end, calling out for his mother, his father. That was the worst and no matter what she did she couldn’t make the torment go away.

The moon was fat and bright and his tail wagged, thumping the earth. Then he cocked his head, curious.
Another wolf was before him, growling as he was growling, baring teeth in the same manner. He darted forward and crashed into the mirror, bashing his snout with a yelp. Whimpering he sniffed the surface and tentatively touched his reflection with a paw.
Perfection! It's like a little puppy playing with its reflection in a mirror!
And he licks her wrist and he smells their blood! THANK YOU, TAMMY!

This could have been quite dark. Bonnie played a part in the death of his uncle and dad but he doesn't know that. I like to think, in this fic at least, that it weighs a lot on her mind.
Can you see that the story about transferring bad/good luck helped shape this?
lol I've been reading A Song of Ice and Fire and I love the descriptions of the direwolves. So I thought it would be fun to write Tyler the wolf! :P

I saw it! I asked myself if it was Pumpkin Child, but then I got sucked into how good this story is! :D And it was even a little sexy, which I was not expecting. :D
I thought you would have got it from Cujo. I know King does the thing where he goes inside the mind of the animal sometimes. I loved it! At first I thought Bonnie turned into a wolf and I was freaking out! But then I laughed when I saw that it was Tyler's reflection. :D
You banged it out quick! I was impressed.

Yup that's where I got the idea from. Magic in both stories is all to do with balance so it was as good fit.
lol I don't ship them but I don't have a problem putting on the goggles for a bit ;)
I haven't read that! In ASOAF some of the characters are "wargs" who can slip into the minds of animals.
