OMFG. Just, OMFG!!!

razycrandomgirl sent me an email today saying that I absolutely had to read this story and wow was she not kidding. Read all four preceding chapter, too. Set up was great, good tension build. I love the way you've characterized them both, and the dance they're doing around one another. And chapter four was so hot, so incredibly hot.

And then I read this and just had to sit here in shock for awhile, mouth hanging open the whole bit. Cos for a minute there, you had Sylar shouting, "Sarah!" over and over again. I may actually die of the hotness. Amazing!

I have to go read that Sarahsarahsarah bit a frillion more times, now.

*goes red*

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the characterisation. Sylar's a toughie.

Dude, I got bit by the smut bug and now I can't stop writing it! More of it in the future, to be sure XD

I just realised that your name is Sarah! I would be fainting if he was calling out my name.

Teehee.

Isn't he though? It's the juxtaposition of power and vulnerability, I think. He's so full of rage and power, yet so completely vulnerable. And in a way that's less jekyll/hyde and more madonna/whore. If that makes sense. And it probably doesn't, so I'll hush now!

Outstanding!

I very nearly did. I read that and just sat there, breathing heavily, flushed, gobsmacked. I think I might have actually gone into shock. In a very good way.

Sylar: It's keeping him balanced. You don't want him too bad, the reader and myself would feel alienated. But you don't want him to be too fluffy. Basically, my bottom line for him is that he's always Gabriel. Gabriel desperately acting out his fantasy of being Sylar. Which he does to an amazing, convincing level. Gabe should have been an actor!

Bwuahahaha! Cana said she got "a happy." I was originally like 'Whaaa?' I get it now though! ;)

Not at all! I would love to friend you back as well. And read some of your Dark Tower thoughts. I'm getting ready for a big reread this fall, I think. My third time through the first half, second through the second.

Friended! :)

I should have done the re-read over the summer, back to Uni in Sep. I've read a lot of his books. But there's still a couple I haven’t got to yet.

I love DT. Why else do you think I have 1919 in my name? XD

I read the notes before I read Gunslinger, and from what he says I sussed what would happen in DT7. It's so obvious when you read the first book again! Mostly I love the connection to all his other books. What did you think of the ending?

Me too. I may never read them. For me, it's the really early ones (like Cujo and Christine) and then the really, really recent ones that have just come out in the last few years. I suspect I'll read those eventually.

I was sick and everybody else I knew was at a SuperBowl party and I was by myself, feverish and awful feeling and I couldn't put it down and I kept wanting to reach into the book to clutch Stuttering Bill and hold him and tell him how much I'd missed him and then there was Susannah and Eddie and the last battle. And then the man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed. And I wept ( ... )

Cujo and Christine

I haven’t read them yet either or his newest. I find that I'll go through periods where I've got to read all I can get my hands on, glut myself on it, then stop for a few months. But I think I've covered most of it now.

DT: Wept and wept through the death of Jake. Also feeling rather angry at King at that bit. Why does he feel the need to punish his characters with things that have happened to him? Should be expected really. The troubled writer = him.

Poor Flagg. Eaten by a baby ware-spider *shakes head* (I like to think he's not dead. He's like a Time Lord...)

The ending does give a glimmer of hope that Roland will succeed. What that might entail, who knows? And King and Stroub should finish The Talisman trilogy. I was convinced we would be seeing Jack in DT.

Loooove the connections. Insomnia has a great connection to DT and It. Rose Madder also. And The Stand of course. Also love the connection in any of the Tv series or films.

I haven't read the comics. Do you recommend them?
