Two streets down from my hotel, stormy night with a hurricane just 90miles away going at 7miles NE of where I am, it is surprising that this restaurant is even open.

The goat offal soup was terrific!  I also ordered mungbean soup, higado (beef tenderloin strips with beef liver stew) and San Miguel Beer.  For dessert, I stopped by Cindy's Bakery just across the street from my hotel.  They had cinnamon twist with halo-halo (a delectable Philippine slurpy). It was busy with all the stranded tourist.

I'm the wiser as I at least ventured two blocks away to a local's restaurant that served authentic regional cuisine.

offal, goat, papaitan, beef
