I just had a crazy awesome dream.
I was in my garage with my bro miguel with our electric axes. We also had nice big amps and a sweet microphone. The doorbell rang and when I answered it two awesome black guys came in with a small drum set a bass and a keyboard. We started jamm'n and it was awesome. We started playing that George Thorogood song "move it on over." If I hadn't woken up I would've called my dream band "The A-man and the Nocturnal Emissions" I think this dream was brought on by one of, if not both of these things: watching 'Black Snake Moan' which features awesome black guys and awesome live blues, OR a hilarious joke from 'Family Guy' where Peter is watching a t.v. hidden in a guy's afro, who gets up and says, "Excuse me, I gotta go do some black guy stuff."
One thing I do know is this dream made me realize how much I miss playing live with a band. We need to do that again soon.
