Being the master chef I am, I just made biscuit dogs for the first time and they were awesome! For those of you wondering what the hell I'm talking about, biscuit dogs are like pretzel dogs but made with biscuit dough.
-Just buy some hot dogs and a can of those Pillsbury biscuits that you bake yourself.
-Cut the biscuit doughs circularly starting from the outside and working the knife inward to make long biscuit strips.
-Then, simply wrap the hot dogs with the biscuit strips diagonally making sure to mush the the dough together each time the strip goes around the weenie.
-Place the biscuit dogs on a cookie sheet and put the cookie sheet in a preheated 350 degree oven for 6 minutes.
-After 6 minutes flip each biscuit dog on its other side and continue to bake for another 5-6 minutes. (if you don't flip them, they'll burn on the bottom.)
-Remove the biscuit dogs from the oven when they're golden brown, put your favorite condiment on one, and eat the bejesus out of it.
Holy crap! I just realized you could probably do the same thing with hot links and might be even better!
Other things that were immediately delicious the first time I made them:
-creamy mashed potatoes
-roasted rosemary potatoes
-Chaka's Mm grilled chicken
-sausage and cheese stuffed mushrooms
(and even though the weren't pretty and some of them had no actual mozzarella inside)
-fried mozzarella sticks.
At the next hot dog and link roast, I'll make some biscuit dogs, and perhaps you'll see what I taste.
