I find it absolutely ridiculous that Tiger has to apologize on live tv for fucking around. This society is so bloody hypocritical with its pedestrian paleolithic morals and obsession with appearances. "Let America judge him! To the lions with him!" Grrrr. It makes me want to roll my eyes. Guess what - the majority of Americans cheat. Don't believe me? Do your research. This judging that's going on is absurd.
And the news commentary prior and after? Seriously? Oh! And CNN texting me that Tiger apologized? Really? I love this country but god damn this aspect of it makes me nauseated. Oh, goody! Now we have the reactions from journalists. They're actually sitting around discussing the apology. At least they didn't hand him hemlock. You've got to be fucking kidding me. He needs to worry about his family and his friends - not the American public. The American public has absolutely NOTHING to say about this. Nothing. Tiger was not making a living advocating fidelity; he is a fucking golfer. Got it? A golfer. He hits a ball for a living.
This country praises Brittany for dancing around like a whore at 15, worships a young actor who plays a half naked werewolve and isn't legal either, accepts that most marriages end up in divorce, but yet frowns upon people of the same gender loving each other and getting married and condem a man for doing what most men would be doing if they had the money and the looks.
The goal of the country is to make women project this appearance of sexuality and desire so that men can pluck them as desired. This is what this society is about. How can you be sexier and hotter and more desirable.
Trust me, I don't like infidelity. If you have an open relationship, goodie for you, but personally, it's one man. But my point is that at some point, most people have cheated once. It's ugly, but it's true, and for America to expect such a public apology is the height of absurdity and hypocrisy.
I don't know where this rant is going other than the above.
Oh, and by the way? I am disgusted with everyone who is anti-gay marriage. How dare you.
