Vacation started \o/
Another rainy day here, but it's my day to use as I please ;)
Woke up to this strange beeping from the kitchen, apparently the power has been off sometime during the night and that makes the freezer/fridge beep.
The trash was collected and Joey who's always curious was out on the balcony saying hi and got a treat from the guy, a dog treat but he enjoyed it just the same, now I'm wondering if that's the reason the renovation people are so popular with him ;)
I spent the weekend at my friend's house, she's the ultimate pack rat. She has this small house, and furniture enough to fill a block of flats, enough clothes to keep a small town wellequiped. I might be a clutter bug, but I'm great at supervising her, we managed to get her living room to look like a living room. We laughed a lot and had some serious talks. So much she still doesn't understand regarding the drinking boyfriend, not living there anymore but still a part of her life. We talked about blame-shifting, I don't care how lousy his childhood was. She can't understand the fact that he doesn't buy new shoes to his son, I'm sure he loves his son, but alcohol will always come first. She doesn't need to understand just knowing is fine.
Staying at her place involved sharing the bed with Freja a nine week old labrador/rothweiler/something else cross. Very cute little thing, I'm definitely not a dog person, but somehow her dogs tend to fall inlove with me. And it was kind of nice to wake up to some tender neck-biting ;)
Nice to come home to my cats, that don't need walking in the rain. After the usual acting offended, Pixie settled in my arm to watch a movie. 'Death at a Funeral' very funny and crazy, mistaking a halucinogen for valium= great fun. ;)
My plans for today besides movies and tea; going to buy some paint for the living room and Andreas' room. When we first moved in, we painted the living room yellow it was nice, but read somewhere that you shouldn't sleep in yellow, now it's white or used to be and it doesn't go well with smoking. I'm thinking in some kind of grey. When I have the paint there's the whole moving everything....Hmm think I'll have another cup of tea for now. ;)
