I went to pick her up several weeks ago from NH and Jang (obscure reference) has been adjusting well to Providence since then. I know that several of you think hedgehogs are great (because, well, hedgehogs!), so I put a few photos of her below.
Here is Jang tentatively exploring her new surroundings. It appears to be a vaguely peach-colored blob that smells exactly like a hand. Since I've been holding her a lot, she tends to relax when she can smell me, which means I can give her to other people if she is bundled in my old shirts.
Jang is still a little shy, but she rarely 'prickles' anymore. Right now she is dangerously close to a sleeve. Hedgehogs love sleeves, despite the inevitable woe it will cause as you frantically try to get her out. Perhaps at some point I'll take a picture of her while she explores the complex world of a cardboard tube.
Yay hedgehogs!
