Picking Up "Gunsmoke" Again
Been picking up the "Gunsmoke" complete series DVD set where mom and I left off watching. We had finished season eight before she went into the hospital for the colon cancer surgery. I'll always remember how much she liked the scenes where Doc and Chester got into arguments.
Also concerning "Gunsmoke", what was the deal with always hearing a piano playing in the background in the scenes which took place in the Long Branch Saloon? You see every interior camera angle, yet you NEVER see a piano! It's not like old west bars had music "piped in" through speakers.
