It Just Wouldn't Work Today

My old pretend radio show recording thing ended a while in the late 1980's when I got involved with a woman who wasn't interested, I figured that was the end of it. After we split in the early 1990's, I brought it back for a while, before meeting the now ex-wife, although for the fictional broadcasts, it was mostly reruns of past shows, with a few "new" episodes mixed in. Didn't try again to bring things back until a few years after the divorce, in 1999. That "revival" lasted a couple of weeks, some of the episodes from that era to be digitized soon.

My point of this post I guess is... when I was hosting my own static website a few years ago, I mentioned on the "Tape and Record Show Enterprises" history page that maybe it would return at some point, "who knows?". As I've been digitizing the old tapes, I think it would be a waste of time. All the "Tape and Record Show Enterprises" productions are too firmly rooted in the 1980's and my high school/shortly after high school days with old friends. The two times in the 1990's it was tried to be revived, it just didn't feel right. Found four "TRS Jukebox" recordings not broadcast or digitized yet, but are edited as a "broadcast" on tape from 1999, where I don't even recognize most of the songs played on it today. Might remember them when I get around to digitizing them.
