Got a Facebook notice that it was a local acquaintances birthday today, so I went to post on his wall. Suddenly saw posts from his friends saying how much they missed him. I knew I hadn't seen any posts from him in quite some time, but I chalked it up to, "Well, he probably gave up on Facebook, like a few other people I know have.".
Scrolled down his Timeline, discovered the reason he hasn't been posting anything was because he passed from a heart attack in February 2013 at age 69. How the heck did I miss THAT??
