I'm falling further into the darkining, ever fridgid, AGRICOLA of life!

Today I played Vampire the Masqurade with Archana and Marius for 7 hours straight. I had to take time out to reapply my kick ass fang caps that I bought at Hot Topic, and reapply my bone-white face makeup. I think it's stupid that people don't take VTM seriously, I mean...it's a way of life! I am a vampire. For 5,000 years I've been a Ravanous, my ( Read more... )

Hee hee,

You have no imagination Mr. Wizard. So nit picky about the misspelling of "sickeningly" and with no other fire power to use in your defense...

And what makes it worse, I was not referring to the fact that your avatar was childish, but addressing the strange obsession over Mr.Lupin when charging a girl of being an obsessed Otaku when you surly are an Otaku well. You're calling the kettle black, MR. Wizard. But I'm sure now that I have so kindly spelled out my reasoning, that you're mighty powers of deduction can understand me better now.

And as far as the high school goes, think of yourself for a moment. You are a college student insulting and harassing a high school student whom you have no more ties with physically. And what's even stranger to me is, you find yourself to be so utterly superior, yet you are still here picking fights with "The people whom derailed a train on conjunction junction"?

Why exactly do you guys do this? Is it sheer boredom? Your duty of being assholes?
You must have a very damaged ego if you must vent whatever miniscule hates of the world on some one whom has done nothing to you, Mr. Wizard.

Or maybe I'm not seeing something and I am being unfair in my accusations. Surely you could enlighten, because I sure have no idea why you bother Anthony.

And "acceptible" isn't a word either, Mr. Wizard.
But we ALL make mistakes, huh?

I have quite a creative imagination, but why am I Mr. Wizard? I don't recall having a syndicated show on Nickelodeon at 6 AM, much less being a 60-year old science professor. I'd hardly call it nitpicking when you left out an entire conjugation of the verb, it's just as bad as putting a word incorrectly in the past or future tense whilst referring to the present.

My avatar happens to be a gift from my friend, thank you very much. Could I be considered an otaku? Yes, perhaps, but yaoi opens up an entirely different chasm of fandom, much in the vein of hentai or ecchi. I could also point out that "[You are] powers of deduction..." makes absolutly no sense, or that when you can't even quote (i.e. copy and paste) my statements verbatim, you have absolutely no credibility when it comes to trying futily to support your own arguments.

My fight isn't necessarily even with Anthony, though he has angered me in the past, it's with his poor grammar and spelling and his inability/unwillingness to either A) correct it manually or B) at least use some form of spell check, honestly, I mean no one who speaks English as a first and only language should be in high school with such a woefully inadequate grasp on their primary language. You know, maybe all this nitpicking and so-called "grammar smashes" would benefit him if he would ever take the advice of myself and others who have oh-so-graciously pointed out his mistakes. I'll have you know that I have quite a substantial grasp on English, being well on my way to setting up for a major in subject, and don't forget I'm in a collegiate honors program and going to school on your tax dollars thanks to the extremely helpful Hope scholarship, a goal which you and your cronies would find nigh impossible to refute as being a minor accomplishment.

I've hardly got time for boredom, considering I attend college full time and work approximately 30 hours a week, the seizure-inducing grammar found in this journal has just become an entertaining pastime, not unlike B-movies to the MST3K group. Being considered an "asshole" doesn't happen very often, and I take pride in knowing that I don't have to resort to swearing to get my point across, just well-written responses. Defending this guy's grammar and spelling isn't going to make it better, and quite frankly you're wasting your time. Typing these responses is no bother to me, I take great relish in it personally, so I see no reason as to why I should quit.

I call you Mr. Wizard because you think your self as such. If you want to be seen as a "holier than though" being, then I will comply on calling you as such. Or would "Your Majesty" be more fitting?

And why would I want to cut and paste your argument? That signifies way too much time and effort and means that you're taking something so trivial as insulting so seriously. And I wouldn't even be typing to you if I knew Anthony would defend himself, or not get upset in what you're saying to him.

And as for the asshole comment, first, why delude the truth when you think that in insulting him that you are helping him? What you're doing is causing a silly little ruckus, which has already blown quite farther than I'd thought it'd go. And not only that, you're making some one you hardly even know look out to be a total failure, for what? To compare how great you are? That's all you ever seem to do when I try to ask you a plausible question. You always return to the fact that "The great Patrick" has passed where some one else has failed. And then you complain (...or is it brag....?)about having to work 30 hours a week, when it's you, yourself that has made that decision to do so. And you don't stop just there...you'll keep grinding and grinding Anthony until there is nothing left or until you get bored!
That's pretty sick, Mr. Wizard.

And I now think this is to the point of silly, and quite agree with Zipper's statement in her live journal....

But I guess some of us have more time than others. But then again, in replying to this, I guess I am truly one to talk.

GannonDork and His Rambling Retards crazy_kid_nikki September 19 2002, 22:17:09 UTC
Ok, where do I begin for this one? First of all: GannonDork, if it's your aim to post a sarcastic, smart-assed response, make some sort of an effort to use spelling, punctuation, and verb tenses that improve the reader's view of your literary abilities. Once again, the spellcheck is that little box next to the "preview" button. It's not hard to find, and it will pleasantly surprise you to learn it's even easier to use! Who woulda thunk it, eh Gomer? And for God's sake, if you can't spell a name, just don't use it. That goes double for your little "vampyre" aliases, too. They're retarded enough to begin with, and misspelling them so horribly just makes it so much worse, both on the eyes and the mind.

You, Nikki, are quite possibly one of the worst flamers I have ever encountered.(And by flamers, I mean posting nasty remarks, nothing homosexual, although it's *quite* possible and even probable) "Mr. Wizard"? Jesus Jumping Creamy Christ on His Cross, that's the worst attempt at an insult I've ever heard. And the comments about being an Otaku? Jesus. It is fairly common knowledge that the word "otaku" is an insult (read: derogatory term, belittling comment, etc.) to the person being described as one. Not to mention being an "obsessed otaku" just makes the connotations better and better. And may I ask, where did the "people whom derailed a train..." come from? If you're going to quote someone to make fun of them for it, follow the rest of the world's lead and use that little feature called "cut and paste."

One final thing: *I* stated that we all make mistakes once in a while, not Lupin. Pay some freakin' attention to the posts you are responding to.

H-Dog over and out,
Eric

Always with the cutting and pasting...
*shakes head*
Are you people really that anal? Why do you need the DIRECT quote? You think of yourselves as being intelligent, so why should the need for copying words be necessary?

No...I can hold that against any of you. After all, it makes all of you feel more brilliant if you complain about the mechanics of an opposing force rather than the points that are trying to be made...

And I had no idea that you also wrote the "we all make mistakes", but I don't really think that matters, because I think I proved my point, and as such, you did as well. After all, I got involved right in the middle an you can't expect me to read all of his insults when they are usually all the same. I think this is unnecessary, and you shouldn't be talking about repeating points when this entire reply has been a complaint about his bad spelling....That's all you people seem to be doing any more....

And along with that...
I understand your want as a friend to defend Patrick, and as such, I'm sure you understand mine in defending Anthony...
