Things I noticed downtown that reconfirm my need to get out of the South:
An ambulance that serves Rural Metro Nashville. Really, that should be enough reason to skip town.
A septic tank draining truck working on a building downtown. So not only does a metropolitan area have rural areas, but apparently you can live downtown and still not be connected to the sewer system.
While I'm ranting:
Dear politicians and pundits,
Enough with the "no silver bullets" already. It's not like we're fighting werewolves, so silver bullets wouldn't do us any good if we had them.
Thanks
