I beat Dragon Age

So, about 36.5 hours later and I'm done with Dragon Age. I thought the epilogue was severely lacking. It wasn't very satisfying for me. I was looking forward to something epic and poignant and got, instead, brief "where are they now" type paragraphs that did nothing to ease some of my curiosity. Disappointed ( Read more... )

I did a 180 on that game....I stuck with it, tried a different class/race, and absolutely loved it. I'm about to hit that last battle and I totally don't want it to be over so I've been procrastinating it :)

Question for you (that's spoilery for those that haven't played yet): did you take Morrigan up on her offer at the end for the 'ritual?'

Haha, I've been procrastinating the game for a few weeks now because I was so close to the end. What class/race did you end up taking?

I did take Morrigan up on her offer and was disappointed that it didn't really provide me with much closure. Did you take her up on the offer? If you didn't, I'm interested in hearing the ramifications. One of my friends turned her down so I'm curious if what she got was a static ending or what..

I have a save point at the Arl's estate just before the landsmeet so I can try other options :) I didn't take her up on her offer this time around, and she left - which is kind of a bummer, although I never used her in party at all.

I started as a human rogue/noble - I think they may have done that storyline first, as the graphics seem much clunkier. I just didn't like it. I then tried an elven mage and I love her :) Possibly one of my favorite characters I've ever played in a game like this one.

My first character was an Elven Mage and I thought the origin story was very cool and interesting. I also made a second character, Human Noble, and while I thought the story was interesting I agree that I didn't like it as much. You're right about the graphics and I thought it was really, really short. Whereas, the Mage story had some actual depth and length to it.

That said, I found it HILARIOUS when the first quest as a human noble is to kill rats and the blood apparently literally exploded because by the end of killing some vermin I was completely covered in gore. That made me laugh...what are they, blood bags? And what am I, a blender with its top off?!
