Today is exactly 4 months since I decided to lose weight in a serious way after many false starts. I have now gotten rid of 67 pounds of fat with dilligent diet and excersise. I have gone down from 275+ lbs when I started down to 213 lbs today. You really can accomplish this if you put your mind to it. I also have gone down from size 46 pants/shorts that were starting to feel very tight on me down to new ones that I had to get in a size 36. That and a new belt.
I really want to be down even more to 195 lbs but
dexter-fox is not so keen of having a skinny bear. He set his paw down and said that 200 pounds is my minimum weight. Funny thing, on our awesome English vacation last month the way I was eating and imbibing like wild with
sabotlours,
carol_kitty and
scritchwuff. After we came home I was afraid to get on and look at at the scale thinking I packed up extreme poundage and that I would have gained a lot. Nope the scale said! I said wOOt? I actually was lighter than when we left. Maybe all the walking Dex and I did offset the fun eating and drinking. We walked 75 miles in two weeks all over our travels according to the iPhone's health app. It is usually very accurate and I believe it.
Last December I topped the scale at 288 pounds! not good, that's my low point, or should I say my high point! Nyuk-nyuk! I eat very well with my diet and excersise regiment. People talk about how they starve themselves to lose weight but I really dont, just ask Dex. The key is just to keep up these good habits.
