For my Song Hall of Fame... "Isle of Sadness" by Donovan
Reminds me of the time I went to St. Ninian's Cave... "As a pilgrim I did go..." St. Ninian's Cave is a pilgrimage destination in southern Scotland, near Whithorn. It's where people place little homemade crosses made out of driftwood and string.

At that time, when I went (first time) it was a different Donovan song that I was listening to there... "Josie"... and it all turned into a slight religious experience.
Anyway, this song reminds me of that time... It's an unfinished recording of a song from 1964, before Donovan was famous...
