Goings on...
We spent some time in town yesterday to attend a street fair for Moat Brae... there was a gigantic puppet thing... a bit drizzly at times, so not the greatest... but we did our bit to support the whole thing. And I set up a standing order to give the cause some money on a yearly basis a while ago... We had the opportunity to stick our heads in the door and also to go around the back and see the "garden" for the first time... which will be fixed up once they raise some more money.
Today, I'm sat here in the conservatory by myself, as Linda has gone to visit Jenny. As I've mentioned, Jenny is expecting a baby in December... she's not been feeling all that well in the past several weeks, which goes along with being pregnant, I guess. We bumped into her and Andy yesterday downtown as well...
A couple days ago, I bought some supplies at Homebase... and I plan to do some outside house trim painting and fixing our garden up a wee bit. Just a little something I've been meaning to do for the past couple years, but have procrastinated, I guess... I'd start it today, because the weather is nice, but it's best to do it when Linda is away at work as she gets a bit uptight about me doing stuff. Watching where I step and all that.
