Pretty Vacant
Today, there's a new entry into my personal Song Hall of Fame... "Pretty Vacant" by the Sex Pistols
It was released in the summer of 1977 as the band's third single and reached number 6 in the UK charts.
NME magazine made it their Single of the Year in 1977... and later named it 132nd greatest song of all time.
And now the song has achieved it's MOST COVETED award.... entry into my Song HoF... I believe it's the 9th Sex Pistols song to go in. Not bad for such a short-lived group.
