ESTA
I just have a few minutes spare here to empty my head of things going on. I'm feeling a bit ill so may be rambling a bit. Wanted to mention that I need to get the "esta" for Linda to go to Florida. Esta is the electronic travel authorisation... can't remember the actual acronym. BUT, it was less than two years ago that we entered the US from Canada by train (at Niagara Falls)... and travel authorisation lasts for two years so I'm thinking I don't need to spend the money on this esta.... trying to get an answer about this from the website has proved difficult so far. But the latest word is that I think I do need to fork out the money for an esta.... as traveling by train and entering the US may not be the equivalent of what you need to do to travel by airplane..... Just trying to make sure before wasting the £20 or so. I'd hate to get it wrong, tho, and find that she can't board the plane without the proper documentation. I have over a month to figure it all out.
