Disney World and Orlando
Not sure if I've mentioned it, probably have... we're going to Orlando in a bit over a month with Jenny, Andy and the three kids. Looking forward to it. Two weeks of holiday time where we plan to go to Disney World, etc.
I've booked a hotel for the night before our flight in Glasgow... which will keep our car for the two weeks. Same place we used when we went to Canada a couple summers ago... convenient for the airport with a shuttle bus.
In Florida, we'll be staying at a resort-type villa / apartment place outside of the Disney park on International Drive. My father and Darlene, Brian, Debbie and Mike and Peter are all planning to meet us down there for a day or so as I think my father has a cruise to go to in Fort Lauderdale and Brian and family are heading to Georgia to visit someone.
Personally, since we have a mess of other people and kids going along... I'm taking a back seat and will go with the flow where everyone wants to go and things they want to do. It's really for the kids, so I will escort them around to meet Mickey Mouse or whatever. It's a two week thing, which, for me, is a long time to be on holiday... if Linda and I go places it's only usually for a few days.
It'll be an expensive holiday, but most of the money is coming from funds left by Linda's parents and their home which was sold a few years ago.... So I'm relaxed about that part of it (money) as it's what Linda and Jenny want to do with that money. The flights are around £900 each for instance.... but that's the way it goes. We're flying via Virgin Atlantic, so it should be a nice plane, etc.
