BBC pressured to sack presenters [BBC News]
I'm pleased to see that article on the BBC, as they'd previously white-washed it - with their usual brush of nonimpartiality.
For those of you who don't know, it was Ross and Russel Brand prank-calling Andrew Sachs (78), four times, with obscenities and claims of f*****g his granddaughter. My opinion is that they should be dismissed, or (as a concession) they must work strictly from scripted material, not of their writing. Oddly, we don't have any choice in the matter: we're paying these guys' 'market rate' salaries via the TV licensing tax.
