My knees are feeling a bit sore today...
Yesterday I got out and did my six miles on the bike just after 9. We rested for a bit then went into town for brunch with friends.
After that, I took Eilidh in the car for a while to let her nap, before heading into the Shenandoah National Park to meet friends for a short 2 mile hike. Eilidh had a great time on the hike. Other than a sprinkling of rain on the way back, the weather was perfect.
Home after that, and then given special dispensation for a boys night out, so ribs and beer were enjoyed in town.
This morning Eilidh seems to have comedown with something. She's been running a bit of a fever. Some medicine now has that under control, so I think we're off out for a walk at one of the local parks.
