Paul Westerberg's solo stuff has been, ermmmm, inconsistant, but this was an early high water mark. Great little pop song from the Singles soundtrack.

True, but having synergy on their side led to a consistently higher average.

Even though the Singles soundtrack was supposed to advertise the Seattle music scene, Paul's two songs were the best tunes on it (aside from the Hendrix tune). Nirvana would have given him a challenge, but they weren't included, for whatever reason.
